John H. Bradberry - Executive Vice President of Operations

John H BradberryMr. Bradberry has over thirty years’ experience in the building products distribution industry serving in various leadership positions including operations, financial management, mergers and acquisitions and business development. He holds a BBA from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and over his career has been actively involved in the growth and development of young people in the distribution industry both at the college level and through various mentorship programs. He has been active both as a director and officer with various trade organizations in the industry and served over eleven years in the leadership of The Association of Millwork Distributors. The first six years of his career were spent in the public accounting industry with various regional and big 3 firms where he formed a solid financial background that has provided him a firm foundation for success in the building products industry. This experience has been instrumental in driving return on working capital and growing shareholder value.

He spent 12 years with CertainTeed Corporation and successor entities in both the building products distribution and manufacturing divisions and 1992 joined Ron Ross in the acquisition of Wm. Cameron & Company from CertainTeed. Serving as Chief Financial Officer of the company until 1995, he had an active role in taking the company public and in subsequent stock offerings for the new company Cameron Ashley Building Products. Moving to an operational and business development role for the company in 1996, Mr. Bradberry was an integral part of the acquisition team responsible for acquiring over 35 companies and nine Greenfield start-up locations in both his division and other divisions for the company.

In 2007, Mr. Bradberry became CEO for LBM Holdings, Inc. and its successor Chase Lumber Company, Inc., a multi-location manufacturer and distributor of building products in the mountain states. Leaving the company in 2010, he was instrumental in the restructure of the company through extremely difficult economic conditions and ultimately positioned the business to sustain itself pending market recovery.

Joining SRS in 2010, Mr. Bradberry has managed several divisions for the company and currently leads the Western Region for the company. Mr. Bradberry continues to remain active in the acquisition process and in the development of new greenfield locations for the company.

Mr. Bradberry has pursued a lifelong passion for fly fishing and when not pursuing a business opportunity can be found in some beautiful mountain stream enjoying the “quite sport”.
